For years, I battled to feel like me again. But somewhere along the way, I started secretly blaming my husband for the weight I couldn’t shake.

 

It wasn’t fair—but it was real!

He’d eat like nothing ever changed. I couldn’t find the willpower to say no when he’d pour a glass of wine or suggest dinner out. Meanwhile, I was gaining pound after pound, and him? He’s still the same weight he was when we met 30 years ago. Not a pound different. Seriously?
